Los Mocochetes

Los Mocochetes are a Xicano/Funk band from Denver, CO that mixes politically urgent messaging with groovalicious rhythms and melodies to create revolutionary music you can dance to. Primarily inspired by their indigenous roots, the Mocos create music from a variety of influences, deftly crossing language barriers and musical genres to spawn a new sound that is also somehow familiar. Much like their Mestizo heritage (Mestizo means mixed Indigenous/european ancestry), these boys are the perfect blend of classical and futuristic, and their live performances will  leave you feeling moved in all 4 directions.
